I’ve been in a bit of a creative rut lately, through external forces beyond my control.
It’s been a mixture of needing to finish up deadlines before going on holiday for my “real” job, which made me sit at the computer for 4 days straight (including nights) – always a killer!
But now I’m on holiday in some of the most breathtaking scenery on the planet and I’m still creatively dry. That said I am also trying to fit in a lot of sightseeing with my family, including entertaining my six year old son (who is handling it all superbly I must add).
Perhaps I should see it as a break and an opportunity to recharge. And trust that I’ll come back to it with new ideas. Still though I can’t help but panic a bit.
Is that something you’ve ever felt? If so how did you get through it?
Hope you’re having a good day.
I’ll leave you with this picture of Glencoe in western Scotland, which doesn’t do the area justice.
